Anthraxus, the Oinoloth This stat block inspired me so much that I literally started writing a yugoloth-themed campaign *just so I could used Anthraxus as a final boss.*

Skill Challenges in 5e If you are a creator or DM, buy this!! For less than a dollar you can save yourself countless hours of trying to figure out how to make non-combat encounters engaging. I'd buy this product for $5! No kidding, I seriously mean it. It's well written and laid out, easy to digest, and gives a great example template I can put into any adventures I write. Love it, recommend it, now buy it!

DDAL08-09 Fangs and Frogs This beginning blurb is going to be copy pasted across this trilogy, scroll down for content review. At this point I'm beyond disappointed with the QC on these modules. A weeks delay on some and you seriously couldn't get another pair of eyes to proofread? You are charging $5 a module for what is turning out to be outlines with mislabeled chapter headings, spelling errors, monsters being called different things in different text blocks, missing statblocks, refrences to monsters in the some "playing the pillars" blocks are incorrect (When they appear at all, one chapter is missing a playing the pillars block.) As well as the item card title font isn't even the same as the first set, I'm having issues with printing. No consistantcy whatsoever, No printer friendly version either? I will be willing to revisit my star rating when I see a v1.1 and a PF version uploaded. Storywise, I belive this to be the weakest of the Trilogy, Noah G.'s review sums up my concerns quite nicely. Combat:...

CCC-WYC-1-1 Back to the Burning

CCC-WYC-1-1 Back to the Burning This is one of my favorite Tier 2 adventure trilogies. The storytelling mechanic is great (no spoilers), and acts as a great intro. The only downfall I have with this series is that you really need to play them all. They're not as strong as stand-alone modules. That said, I don't consider that a short-coming, as this is an incredible trilogy.

Pages from the Sages

Pages from the Sages Some of the material here is stuff that felt like it was missing from the actual PHB and DMG (like expanding on critical hits, inventory blocks, and new downtime rules, new treasure rules), some of it could completely change the way you handle RP stuff (like Hero Points which seems like reputation but it is actually meaningful - land management which is always in my games - even rules for trained animals)...and some of it is just raw content (new monsters, spells, feats, subclasses, even a race...). It's a lot to take in abd you're basically guaranteed to find a fistful of rules to use in a game. We're using all the ones I mentioned specifically. ...

The Graveyard Shift
by Tyler S.
Publisher: Dungeon Masters Guild
Date Added: 12/12/2018 10:12:13
The Graveyard Shift Short version: This adventure is phenominal, laid out well, fun and intuitive for new players, and a great starting point for a campaign. Long version: This adventure took only a little adjusting for my (low-magic) setting, but it was so well written and concise that I had no trouble. Just make sure you read it before you start running it, a lot of the setting and personality information is in the back of the book. Its read-aloud text is a great addition, and takes some of the burden off of the DM, and I found that it really focused my distractable players when they noticed I was *reading* not just describing. If your players are murder hobos, or not interested in taking their time with the adventure it will have a good set of challenges. If your players are thoughtful and patient it gives you suggestions to nudge them in the right direction, and the important clues have multiple paths to get to the players. Did they miss the red dirt that's only from that one place? No big dea...

Blue Alley

Blue Alley When I saw that this was a dungeon crawl, I was a little hesitant to run it. I have gotten used to the S8 RP-driven playstyle and so have my players, so I wasn't sure how much we would enjoy this one. We love it. I think this module makes exploration for exploration's sake enjoyable. The rooms were interesting, the combat was not repetitve and it gave a lot of leeway for RP especially with the players' interaction with the Blue Alley's creator and the "clean-up crew". My players also made an incredible clutch roll while dealing with Mirt at the end. :) Also the map is awesome. :) Thank you for this. We can't wait for the second module to come out. ...

DDAL-ELW03 The Cannith Code I enjoyed running this module. The group didn't go for the combat option (Having a changeling helped) but definietly got slammed in the final combat. The fact that a lot of the infiltration relied on dice roll luck was a little concerning. Overall a good module but helped by the right sort of characters to carry it out. (It would have been interesting to outline the researchers responses to an active warforged) Clearly the Eberron mods aren't designed for the standard dungeon bashers... which is great. ...

D&D Adventurers League Player & DM Pack

D&D Adventurers League Player & DM Pack Season 8 was supposed to be easier with TCP/ACP, until your New Season 8 DM awards 3 ACP/3TCP for the adventure. Not only does New Season 8 player, tier 1 character not advance in level or collect gold, they also earn .75 renown! Season 8 math is fun! The New Season 8 player will have to do a remedial module to advance to next level. Please repeat 1st grade New Season 8 player! Opps, I mean level 1. New Season 8 player do you wanna play your tier 1 character at half of 3 ACP/3TCP earning 1.5ACP/1.5TCP/0.375 renown instead? Awesome! What? You are going to player homebrew rules instead? Yes, the Adventure League Organizers are fill-ins from other game systems and care little for players that have invested their time, effort, and money into this game system. They care little for what came before in the previous 7 seasons, don't wish wish learn anything from the past, believe they are untouchable, and their jobs are secure indefinitely. You want them to do what?!? Yes, I highly agree. Go...

Opus of Elemental Substance - 60 New Spells
by Natasha M.

Opus of Elemental Substance - 60 New Spells Really well written! I like how there's different styles of spells, be it touch or ranged spells. They all have some form of flair to them to suit different preferences in spell casting, or for the kind of flavor players might want to add to their spellpages. These spells have character, and look like they make for great rp/character moments in batttle. I've seen comments about the ranger not having spells, but these spells seem flexible enough that a DM can pick some that could be available for them. this is a nifty tool to add to my toolkit, and I'm very excited to try this out! ...
