pixel_trans.gif Monster Manual Expanded II (5E) All three books are great for any DM, but thus one is my favorite. Now that I have these I feel like I couldn't live without them. I use at least one statblock from one of these books almost every session.

pixel_trans.gif Starter Set Paper Miniatures & VTT: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle I picked up the other two starter set minis in this series, and this one is equally good. The minis are really easy to assemble (I used 160gsm card). The cartoon-style artwork is distinctive and fun.

DDAL04-05 The Seer (5e)

pixel_trans.gif DDAL04-05 The Seer (5e) I've been running and remixing the DDAL04 Misty Fortunes and Absent Hearts adventure series of modules as a single campaign for a group of players via play by post, so certain things don't translate fully. The big thing being I forshadow the hooks for the modules ahead of time as I built the village of Orasnou for the players and the runtimes of the modules don't matter as much in PbP. What I liked: Overall a fun short little adventure. There's a mix of roleplay (I expanded a lot on the two Vistani families in my campaign), combat, and the twist with Lela is fun. What I didn't like: Even though it's 2 hours focused on level 3 PCs, it feels like the combat is too easy. I added way more zombies, and a few ghouls/ghasts and that helped. I also brought Alina and the wolves back from DDAL04-02 the beast because the module references wolf tracks, and then forgets about them. This felt like a copy editing error. Overall: Pretty fun, I like the idea, I changed ...

pixel_trans.gif Forlorn but not Forgotten (SJ-DC-PHP-FLN01-01) I've played this module numerous times, and it's always a blast. The story may be short and simple, but the characters are memorable, and with good roleplay, it's very much a touching and heartfelt adventure. I plan to run it in the future, and the Roll20 room definitely helps with the ease of preparing the module.

pixel_trans.gif CCC-TRI-18 Pros & Cons (An Original Adventure by The Role Initiative) One of my favorite modules to run and one of my favorites that I've played. It's fun, not too serious, and has all three pillars of play. The only trouble I had was understanding the puzzle room map, but that might be my fault since I had 30 minutes to prepare the mod. Excellent!

pixel_trans.gif WBW-DC-NJ-COU-01 Dear Aery The story was touching and sensitive, and the mechanics of defeating Aery's emotions were excellent. While encouraging players to talk it out in theme with the module, it also allows them to choose violence. I would advise running it however with a party that prefers roleplay over combat, or else you might run into a situation where you just murder Aery's emotions. The part where the DM is given freedom to delve into the character's backstories has plenty of potential for amazing storytelling, if you would like to take the time to work with your players' backstories. Overall, great module....

You've Goat to be kidding me (WBW-DC-PHP-POLAR-02)

pixel_trans.gif You've Goat to be kidding me (WBW-DC-PHP-POLAR-02) The story itself was fun and engaging. The characters were very dynamic and different, and they were a blast to depict. The structure of the module itself was also easy to follow and very clear. The only criticism I would have are that two skill checks are a bit redundant, and maybe another mechanic could have been used. But there was nothing technically wrong with it, it's just nitpicking. Great mod all around and one of my favorites!

pixel_trans.gif The Beckoning Road: Varlo's Guide to the Cities of the Unapproachable East I have the utmost respect for both George Krashos and Eric L Boyd and I believe that this is a quality product that fills a much needed gap in the lore. For someone unfamiliar with the region, this is a great resource which can be used to kick off any campaign in the region. Highlights. I appreciate that this product is set in the 1370s DR and would like to see this as a trend in future products as well. I appreciate the hyperlinks in the table of contents that makes navigation of the pdf easy. I also appreciate how the settlement formatting aligns with what has been published in other products. Concerns. It would have been nice to also have included the page numbers in the Table of Contents. I'm not sure how I feel about the city maps as presented here. On one hand the maps depict much needed city and town layouts heretofore unknown and I greatly appreciate that. On the other hand, the map art is rudimentary and has a more modern feel. A compass on the maps would also help to c...

pixel_trans.gif Moorheart Crypt (Isle of Storms solo series) I really enjoyed this module. I can't recommend it enough. Don't agree at all with the rude comment left by the other customer. This module ties together very nicely with the whole series. The plot was very well thought out, and very few dwarf driven modules out there. One thing i really enjoyed is the inherant sadness of the underlying story but with you deing to bring a little solice.

pixel_trans.gif SJ-DC-ROTU-07 Recesses of the Unknown, Epilogue Overall, this was a good module. I don't think the 'time travel' aspect hit as hard for the table but it was still fun to see how the players interact with the cast after everything that happened in the previous module. I see that this is a module based on how the playtest group went through their version of the campaign. But it would be fun as well if we could make this based on the group's campaign, just if they had failed instead.

pixel_trans.gif SJ-DC-ROTU-06 Return of the Unknown II As the finale to it all this is where the players get to see the conclusion to the actions that they've made so far. Definitely great that you get to rely on the options you've made so far. The final fight is insane and definitely can be the 'end' for some players if they don't give it their all. But it was fun to DM and the table had fun as well.

pixel_trans.gif SJ-DC-ROTU-04 Declaration of War Definitely was a fun mod. You get to face off against a monster that players rarely get to see in Adventures League. My only suggestion would be to add a destroyed version of the map provided so that it can be used as the play for the final fight as well.
