Really had a great time running this. The layout is easy to follow, everything is clear, and the story itself is just fun. It’s got that classic fantasy feel without being too complicated, which made it really easy to run as a one shot. My players jumped right into it, got invested in the mystery, and had a blast when things started ramping up.
Pacing felt solid. My group didn’t overthink things too much, so it moved along naturally without dragging. I could see how some players might try to stretch it out, but if you just let the events unfold as written, it all comes together in a really satisfying way. The last fight was intense, and my group loved pulling off a plan that actually worked. They walked away feeling like total badasses and legends.
I also liked the art, even though I know it's midjourney. You can tell the author cared and ensured that there were the proper amount of limbs and fingers for instance! If they didn't tell you it was AI artwork, you probably coul...
