I ran the first half of this adventure last night for my teens & young adults. Before we started, my cleric asked if we could make it a short session, she wasn't 'feeling d&d' and we agreed to try to keep it to two hours. Well, FOUR hours later, Gellen is suggesting that they call it a night and none of my players wanted to stop. We played five hours, and stayed up another hour just to talk through the session. All of my players, even my fighter who really only cares about combat, througherly enjoyed this module.
Thanks to the "Meet the Characters" section, I was able to weave a couple of the suspects into our campaign a few sessions ago, making for a truly seamless fit. My more combat oriented players really enjoyed the games at the beginning which helped loosen everyone up. The included maps are beautifully done, the characters are wonderfully diverse, and my players at least, fell for the misdirection that occures at dinner.
One thing I did to make my player's life a little easier, is I made an image with all the character's pictures and names on it. They referred to that a lot throughout the night.
This adventure offers a breath of freshair, a break from the norm, and I highly suggest it. The hardest part is waiting another week to see if my players are going to figure out the truth.
