From a beginners standpoint, Amphail Asylum is a tastefully well-written and impressive piece of work; from its plot, the art, and the climax, Amphail keeps you hooked the entire time. Alongside the spine that the creator has given as a supporting column to this story, it still has the capabilities to allow a DM and their players to form a full bodied adventure where their choices and actions can have a long-standing effect outside of the game. To not give this one-shot A shot is to deny yourself a substantial session of creativity and entertainment.
