I found the best thing about this adventure is that it coaches you trough running a story based on intrigue rather than combat. It's pretty easy to throw some monsters and murderers in front of the players and get them to fight their way through, but what if you want the PCs to lead an investigation? How does that work? This adventure fills in that gap. There are definitely opportunities here for the PCs to draw their swords if they're looking for some action, but in terms of progressing the story they'll be better off with characters who use their heads.
