Take This is an amazing charity who I have supported in the past. When I saw they would benefit from this purchase I bought the item first, then actually took the time to figure out what it was. Let me say, it was a great impulse buy! The adventure included could function well as a one-shot or incorporated into another campaign like The Lost Mines of Phandelver. I think many players and DMs have themselves struggled with anxiety or depression and this module allows for people at the table to see a personification of these “monsters.” I like the heavy roleplay elements in addition to the combat, as it provides a deeper, more vivid understanding of these experiences. DMs, don’t fear, there are pretty robust DM notes and even a new DM would be able to run this and help facilitate meaningful discussion and a fun session of gaming.
I also love the Mind Domain cleric, as it creates the opportunity to play as someone devoted to not just physical healing. A lot of cataclysmic events tend to happen when adventurers are around, and it is nice that someone will finally be on the scene to help people process, cope, and heal from any psychological wounds this inflicts. The Domain itself seems fairly well balanced to the other Domain options, and I think the party-wide Wisdom Save bonus was a great idea.
