This adventure had an interesting backstory and some nice story elements. The location was also very flavorful giving the DM quite a bit to work with.
This is a trap heavy adventure in which the traps tend to be unintuitive, which can be frustrating for the players. Of course, all of that is moot if the party casts Heroes’ Feast, which trivializes the adventure as most of the traps use poison. It isn’t going to be unusual to have that happen since the PCs know that they are going to a Yuan-ti area and have plenty of time to prepare.
A solution would have been to use something other than poison for many of the traps. This would also make sense in an area full of Yuan-ti as poison isn’t going to keep out the unworthy or intruders from other tribes.
As has been stated by others, Ihl and Nozhi are too weak and are lucky to get two turns.
