This is a fantastic supplement and worth every penny. The Thirsty Giraffe is worth the $5 by itself. I wrote my own "Ballad of the Giraffe's Tongue" for my group's use (made it more of a verbal tour of Chult to go with the map) but the tavern is now the home base for the party in my campaign. The intro to the supplement was very well done and really helped me get into the jungle mindset that is so critical to a successful campaign in Chult. The music cues are inspired.

I probably will not be able to use all of the faction agents, renegades or custom monsters, but they are great assets to have if the story goes in a direction I don't have prepared.

So glad to hear this is amplifying your game. Glad to hear you are adding to it with your own ballad. Game on!

This is a solid addition to any Tomb of Annhilation library, with plenty of fun adventure hooks, NPCs, and handy tables to help you flesh out your campaign.

My party recently spent a memorable evening in the Thirsty Giraffe in, which is a really well done inn, especially when you compare it to the relative lack of detail given on the two inns included in the original module.

While the formatting is a little unorthodox, there's no faulting the quality.

There's good art in Adversaries and Allies, but the lore is not up to date with 5e. It is disorienting that Adversaries keeps referring to human Chultans as "Tabaxi", when in fifth edition that only refers to cat-people. The couple missions are disconnected and not ready to run without a lot of prep. The content needs actual connections to the 5e Tomb of Annihilation adventure.

It's a bold move to follow up a well-received product with one that looks absolutely nothing like the first, but just take a moment to look at that cover. It's amazing. As to the content, this is a worthy successor to Adversaries & Allies in Baldur's Gate, providing a wealth of material - and, of course, tons of NPCs - for games set in Chult. Plus it's formatted for screen reading, which is awesome.

The level of detail given to each of the NPCs in this product is fantastic. It focuses on their history, personality, wants and goals, providing enough information for you to drop these characters into your game with a minimum of effort without swamping you with too much to take in. There are helpful suggestions for incorporating each NPC as either a friend or a foe, and the addition of some trinkets and personal effects is a nice touch. The suggestions for which NPC stat blocks to use in combat provide a nice way for you to take seemingly vanilla enemies from the core books and liven them up into memorable additions to your game.

Highly recommended.
