I liked how this provided an expantion to the NPC creation in the Dungeons Masters Guide while also providing enough to create NPCs on its own. I really liked the Interests tables and the Quirks/Flaws. It gives an intersting difference to each NPC so I can play then a little differently and refer to them if the players try to make more conversation than I prepared. The only problem I had with it were some the distinct features. I was hoping for a few more Distinct Features outside of the Dungeons Masters Guide but with everything else, this is definatly a great guide for making interesting NPCs.
