What starts as a straightforward Theseus-inspired dungeon crawl in a maze expands into so much more! The players begin with a bit of hack-and-slash fun, but soon find themselves at the centre of an investigation involving lots of colourful monsters and NPCs. This module gives both the DM and the players ample opportunity to flex their roleplaying muscles, as it includes lots of interesting characters, lore, and scenarios to explore, and everything is punctuated with bursts of combat to keep the players who love rolling dice interested. Beyond being entertaining and fun, this module also provides DMs with nearly everything they need to run the adventure - I think only the D&D 5e SRD would be needed on top of what is included here. All stats for monsters and NPCs are listed, as are roleplaying prompts so that DMs can easily slip into the different characters without having to do much advance preparation. The only thing that isn't provided is a map of the titular labyrinth, but I feel like a stack of dungeon tiles would solve this, because the geography of the maze itself doesn't matter - only the encounters - and DMs can have fun designing their own crazy maze for the party to explore. Can't wait to run this with my usual gaming group!
