This is a must have for anyone planning a Nautical/Sea themed campaign. I was especially impressed with the variety of scenarios presented here- all three pillars of play are well represented across all four tiers.
The supplement is divided into several encounter types- Character (involving a colorful NPC, found in any location), Crew (Where the players deal with someone on the ship during a voyage), Island (where they have some encounter on a landmass), Port (where they deal with a situation in a dockside town), Ship (where they encounter another vessel while sailing), Surface (where they deal with something near the top of the water) and Underwater (ruins, shipwrecks, etc.).
Having all these encounter types makes it SUPER easy to put a session together by mixing and matching. Start a session with a "Port" encounter, perhaps mixing in a "Character" encounter while they're on land. Then the players take to the oceans, where you have a "Crew" encounter, then choose between a "Ship", "Surface", or ""Underwater" encounter during the voyage. Then, they arrive at a landmass and deal with the "Island" encounter. You can use this mix and match method to run a nautical campaign that lasts several months just using material in this supplement- there's even a few plot threads that can grow and develop through the tiers. This gets a huge recommendation from me, great job- can't see where Daerdan ends up next!
