Ever since I started playing D&D 5e, I always felt that it was missing something that I enjoyed from 3.5 and Pathfinder. I know 5E was supposed to make things more D&Dish 3.5 than 4th "crpg" ed but without going overboard. But after a while, almost every class archetype just stared tto look and feel the same. I missed the hundreds of feats that you can use to customize/build your characters in ways to make each very unique. The first Talents book finally gave me what I've been looking for, and I'm glad the second book finally came out just in time for Xanathar's Guide to Everything. I know it's not for everyone, but if you're a DM who wants to have unique NPCs with feats/abilities that can suprise players, or just have players have fun with their characters, you can't go wrong with this book! Looking forward to the Monstrous Talents!
