This is an okay product, but not worth it for me.
1) The book loves to give custom pronouns. I find it distracting, but if you love having them, you'll probably enjoy the read more.
2) The artwork is all over the place, and the contrast between styles was jarring and (in the case of the very cartoony giant-breasted dragonborn) unpleasant.
3) The shops feel fairly useful and creative. I particularly liked it every time a mundane product was played up, such as Catelaine's No-no-smell.
4) That said, I don't find a lot of use for this with the myriad of random generators available online.
I would recommend this product to anyone who isn't accustomed to correlating shop information that is put out by the many creators who do it for free already. Or someone who wants a starting point for developing their own shops, but is overwhelmed by the various options out there and just wants to spend some money to have an instant template. It is convenient in that way, and the drama/quest seed ideas are pretty solid.
