I love these book it has lots of cool playable races and can't wait for more but i do feel the layout could be better First off i find it hard to read when the text goes across the full page especially on my phone. secondly some of the pictures are above the information about another race and can be confusing.

So, because I´m some what new is to D&D and dont got enough time to try out every option, the main problem I have it is.

  • Some times the wording in some certain parts are a bit "odd"

Out side of that, The hole option seems fun, also I didnt expect that it also had some subclasses options, hopefully there more on that on future books

This, and the upcoming volumes adding to it, can be summed up as: "Hey, remember that race from older editions? That race that has plenty of lore established in those older editions, and even in 5e? That race that would be so god damn cool to play as? Its in here!"

There is... SO much variety! I'm a big fan of the Gargoyle race, I really do love me some rock-hard crime fighters! As I type this, I have started a new, original, campaign that has a good handful of the races dwelling in it. My 1st 3 PCs are the following; an Equinal Skeleton Sorcerer (Aberrant Mind), a Minotaur Bard-Barian, and an ABSOLUTE UNIT of a Gator Envie Ranger (Monster Slayer).

I was genuinely ecstatic when that PC chose to be an Envie cuz that was the first Playable Race I bought from you when you had released it a long while back...

So I hope to be a good and fair DM to these people, and I'll do your races justice and implement a little piece of everything into my new campaign. So, thank you Zito.

I've read it over twice. Honestly, this is one of the most well done book of races I've ever seen. Theres a ton of variety on display, with some genuinely clever creatures that are without question going to wind up in my campaigns. I'm already making use of the gnoll and the siren, and some of the class options look fascinating. I await part two with baited breath.

As someone who enjoys playing monsterous races, this is the perfect book. It does a good job incorperating the abilities of monsters without making them over powered. The art in this book is also amazing. I'm really looking forward to Volume 2

It's an amazing and well thought out book with very clever writing, a perfect gift for anybody who has wanted to be more than just the standard races 5e gives you, and great for visualizing monsters as NPCs instead of just mindless/evil cannonfodder to throw at your friends! Give your monsters more love, the Raven Queen will be most pleased!
