Solid supplement. Some of the subclasses are very good (Numerology Wizard is my favorite), the reworks are ok (Four Elements rework is not particularly imaginative, but surely better than the original in PHB). Spells and magic items look ok. Regarding Chapter 4 and the DM tools, the section on downtime crime activities is very well done, while the preluse is interesting but a little lacking (could have used 2 or 3 pages of additional options and content). Overall a solid 4 stars supplement.

As a Dungeon Master this is an excellent supplement to bring to the table, I have players that want to play some of the subclasses in this book more than they want to play the subclasses in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, which this somewhat parodies. Not only do I hope to be able to play these subclasses as a player but the magic items and spells are all so enticing that I might just make a character sheet with some of them and just throw monsters at them to see how well they fair. This is an excellent purchase and I would advise you to buy it if you are looking into getting a very high quality product for very little. I sincerely hopes this goes to Print on Demand as if it does I will most certainly be a repeat customer and am looking forward to Volume II which is coming in the Spring!

Anyone who has ever played in a game I have run knows that I tend to be a story first DM. I especially love it when innovative game mechanics fuel the story. I am pleased to find a hefty supplement that provides not only incredible inspiration for myself (I'm looking at you Ennida's Tea Set) but for any players I provide this to as an additional option for character options. I can tell you one thing, next time I'm a PC I am going to beg my DM to let me play a bard from the College of Pantomime. The thing that excites me the most is the sheer diversity of the new subclasses this product provides. I hope it excites players who never would have thought to play a certain class that there is a way to make it their own. ~ Morrigan Robbins

TASHA’S CRUCIBLE OF EVERYTHING ELSE Vol. 1 Brought to you by QL Games

This is my short sweet first take placeholder for when I am able to get into this more thoroughly.

“Tasha’s Crucible of Everything Else is a massive collaboration of over 25 talented creators, a two-volume product that delivers new subclasses, spells, items, Dungeon Master tools, races, and creatures ready to be used in any campaign.”

This truly is a crucible of EVERYTHING! • 30 Subclasses over 13 Classes • 29 Spells • 53 Magic Items • A plethora of Dungeon Masters Tools and Variant Rules • A New Expanded Backgrounds System: Preludes

There’s just too much here to for me to do justice right now, but it’s freaking epic, bloody beautiful and one of the most exciting projects I’ve seen in a while!

There are so many incredibly talented creators coming together to make a supplement crammed with so much of all of their awesomes that Tasha’s gonna need a bigger cauldron! 28 fine folx on the design team with playtests on six continents, which is mind-bogglingly impressive!

Tasha peers at someone unfortunate enough to stumble upon one of her arcane ceremonies on Rodgers’ (@TatteredDemalion) gorgeous cover that truly conveys the talent, beauty and professionalism bubbling away in the melting pot of a crucible of a cauldron. This book holds a 17th level created bonfire of a candle to the official Wizards release!
