The resources in this bundle are fantastic. The opening adventure in Malar's throat is one I plan on running for my party and it's great; foreshadowing the dungeon crawls and some creative thinking to come in area such as the tomb or Camp Vengence. The GM notes give me everything I need to get my campaign set up and having extra resources like the calander, suggestions for encounters & quest hooks, and just baseline info on each major NPC guide are extremely useful. The fact the module also details out main areas of the map that recieved no love in the book I think is brilliant, especially the way they did it. The Aldani Basin and Nsi Waste adventures are extremely well written, while yes linear, and tell some really interesting stories. The best part about this adventure is "Secrets of Shilku Bay." It's a really interesting subplot that could honestly be ran as a 4-5/6 mini campaign if you bought it on it's own. As well, the additional reflavouring of certain aspects of the adventure, and extra magic items are all fantastic.

Can't reccomend this enough. If you've got the spare cash this is absolutely worth the asking price.

I dont usually write reviews, but this was the worst way to spend my 15$ to prepate for ToA. The only valid reason to get this is that it has some nice maps, but then again, there are better map bundles for ToA. where should i start? The Adventures are weak. They barely add anything new and if they do its unispired and any person could easyly come up with something better. The "lore" some of these adventures have is, im sorry, rediculus. Ubtau turning the Aldani in to lobster folk for fishing lobsters? But he was fine with slavery in Omu, ok, sure. The Dms notes are just bad. Not short enough to place behind your screen in a comfortable way, not long enough to be of any greater use than opening up your book. The Dms "Resources" Is something you could also call "having common sense" as states the obvious on running the campaign and the hints it gives are either worthless or easyly found for free on the internet by tiping in "ToA running tips". The cheatsheet is so forgetabble i had to double check whats in it before writing this. Again, unchanged info from the book, that could have been just as easy to access by writing down the page the info is on or by using bookmarks. To summerise, it sucks, dont get it, if you want any valuable help running the campaign just go on reddit. Its free!
