I appreciate and enjoy the neat ideas about magic store locations presented in this supplement, but I feel the execution fell a bit flat. The descriptions are quite bare bones: A blurb about the how the vendor would greet arriving customers, a short couple of lines describing the vendor, an abbreviated (and generally uninteresting) vendor mini-stat block, and finally, a mini-table highlighting a handful of items one might find in the store's inventory. None of the vendors seem to possess qualifies that would make them either interesting (or helpful) allies or (or formidable) foes,. They also all have a simple merchant sort of statblocks. So, the statblocks seem to serve the main purpose of simply occupying space on the sparsely filled pages. The formatting is a bit jumbled, too, and it seems like the text was arranged to block out as much space as possible on the page, rather than to ensure ease of readability. I still very much enjoy the ideas presented here, but I think the supplement would benefit from being fleshed out a little, as well as getting revised formatting.
