The Corruption of Skyhorn Lighthouse is the much-anticipated sequel to the Arcane Library's iconic adventure The Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse, and it equals and surpasses its predecessor in many ways. If you are familiar with Kelsey's design approach, you already know that each of her adventures are presented in a series of unique single page encounters, each of which poses a unique challenge that the PCs must overcome. These challenges range across the spectrum of play from roleplay-focused obstacles like "which ship captain will the party hire?" to nuanced combat obstacles like "can the party defeat the chuuls before they kill an innocent triton?" Her adventure design philosophy makes this adventure extremely easy to run with very little prep, perfect for an on-the-go DM.
Beyond the technical design of the adventure, the creativity of the encounters and the underlying story makes for an extremely engaging and compelling adventure that is certain to be enormous fun for any campaign! The dungeon is tremendous fun, containing a myriad of interesting encounters and fun new mechanics for DMs to integrate into their campaigns. In particular, I can imagine this adventure and The Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse to be absolutely phenomenal additions to the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign or JVC Parry's Call from the Deep campaign!
