Ran this twice with a couple of people who I also ran Secrets of Skyhorn with and they all loved it! The first group basically got a TPK as they really went wild with the ... magic item ... you know the one... The other group successfully completed it in two sessions!

What I love about this module is how easy it is to run and change if needed. Very simply put descriptions, no massive lengthy paragraphs about the history of one particular wall. It's also a great primer for starting an adventure! If you're looking to run a one shot/mini campaign for friends, definitely run this and the Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse.

Great little adventure that's easy to fit into almost any campaign. I love the way that the social encounters are handled. The included maps are wonderful and easy to use on VTT. The combat and item cards are just icing on the cake. This is a really good template for how a module should be laid out and what should be included. The only improvement I would make would be to include tokens for the custom NPCs and monsters. Overall, highly recommended.

Like all of Kelsey's content, the Corruption of Skyhorn Lighthouse is perfect for a minimalist (read: Lazy) DM like me. Framing encounters with a Dramatic Question makes improvising easy and natural. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This adventure is perfect. It's challenging, well-paced, and easy to throw into any campaign. There are some guidelines for social interaction that I have found to be invaluable. It keeps interactions, and the adventure in general, moving so as to not bog anything down. The NPCs are dynamic, the artwork is incredible, and the mystery is sure to keep your players on their toes. The prep work is easy, whether you're a minimalist DM or one who prefers a little prep; there is enough information to describe the scene to your player with plenty of room to add your personal touch.

The Corruption of Skyhorn Lighthouse is the much-anticipated sequel to the Arcane Library's iconic adventure The Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse, and it equals and surpasses its predecessor in many ways. If you are familiar with Kelsey's design approach, you already know that each of her adventures are presented in a series of unique single page encounters, each of which poses a unique challenge that the PCs must overcome. These challenges range across the spectrum of play from roleplay-focused obstacles like "which ship captain will the party hire?" to nuanced combat obstacles like "can the party defeat the chuuls before they kill an innocent triton?" Her adventure design philosophy makes this adventure extremely easy to run with very little prep, perfect for an on-the-go DM.

Beyond the technical design of the adventure, the creativity of the encounters and the underlying story makes for an extremely engaging and compelling adventure that is certain to be enormous fun for any campaign! The dungeon is tremendous fun, containing a myriad of interesting encounters and fun new mechanics for DMs to integrate into their campaigns. In particular, I can imagine this adventure and The Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse to be absolutely phenomenal additions to the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign or JVC Parry's Call from the Deep campaign!

Ran this for my group last night and they LOVED it. Honestly, it’s just the latest consistent content from Arcane Library, and that’s easy to run (only spent 20 mins of prep). I have not run the original Skyhorn Lighthouse but it still worked pretty seamlessly (as have the rest of the Arcane Library adventures I have run, linking this adventure to the Basilisk Cult, a free adventure from their website). It has a fantastic level of adaptability that I really love, and also can be modified for other levelled characters with ease (ran for a party of 14's). I would reccomend DM's run this as a 2 or even 3 parter its got more than enough content, and as I tried to force it to be a oneshot I feel I had to rush it at times (but thats just me being bad at time management and not planning ahead). These adventures could easily be worth twice as much, there is no reason not to get them, this one especially if you have a costal setting.
