Highly recommend getting this content if you run Mbala. We've really enjoyed it at our table. As a DM it gave me a lot to work with as written plus some opportunites to include more lore and tie up a few storylines.

Great content and maps. This supplement inspired me to expand the Mbala plateau experience into a larger series of encounters and dungeons. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having their player visit Mbala.

Fantastic new content that provided a better tie in to the overall adventure goals with more options for how the players can handle this location. Gorgeous map of Mbala that I printed and laminated in 11x17 pieces which i think is such a great ruin I may use it again after this campaign

I loved working with this, it was such a wonderful experience for my players and I. Where the original ToA adventure was lacking, this definitely filled the gaps and made Mbala very intriguing to everyone involved. The extra lore was exactly what I needed and my players were so giddy to find it all out - thanks a bunch, great product!

A well written piece that adds a few dashes of what what Mbala could have been in the distant past. Has reasonable plot hooks to get your players to Mbala. Offers several beautiful maps, one of Mbala and two battle maps. And offers new motivation for the resident's NPCs actions that are fully reasonable.

I like the addition of the mummy and secret tomb, and the Rain Stick is a very nice item that grants use of cantrips that are not over powered but will reward a creative player, and a +1 quarterstaff is not going to break the game. And the fun of an over eager player nearly dying to the mummy to receive this was great for the table

I purchased this author’s other title Fall of Cyrog and wanted to see more of his content and was pleasantly surprised to find so much Tomb of Annihilation material. This supplement really expands the Mbala location. Maps are really important to my campaign and I thought the map in this adventure really brought the location to life. I also really enjoyed all of the lore that it added to Mbala to explain how Nanny Pu’pu got there in the first place. My players aren’t ready for Shilku or Nsi Wastes, but I’m planning to pick up Daniel’s other titles when the time comes if they’re as good as this one.

Excellent supplement for expanding Mbala in your Tomb of Annihilation campaign! I have been looking for a way to expand upon the Sewn Sisters outside of their random jungle encounter or first meeting them in the Tomb and this helps very well with that! I also love the expanded lore, the maps, and the Crypt of the Last King encounter. Would recommend to any DM running the Tomb of Annihilation campaign, especially if you know your players will be stopping by Mbala along their journey!
