Having grown tired of the Faerun's tribal and viking-ish Northwest region, but feeling that there isn't enough unique stuff in its Inuit-ish "Great Glacier," this product really scratches an itch for arctic content. It brings some creatures from one of my favorite Core sourcebooks of 3rd edition, "Frostburn," and incorporates them into the world in a meaningful way with an outlined history. Plus there is a good dose of elemental action to liven things up.

I must disclose that I have not gotten to use this in a campaign yet, but the campaign I'm currently running has my players traveling across the globe of the Forgotten Realms and definitely I plan on having them come here.

My only major complaint with the product would be that it is not OCRed, so I can't search for specific words in the document like I can with the author's later published works.
