Content is good but unfortunately I purchased this for use in a game via virtual tabletop and the maps are unsuitable for use there. The map grids between different areas of the same map are not aligned with each other, and the grid dimensions are irregular.

It's not a huge lift to fix by hand, but if I'm paying money for this then that's not acceptable.

Adds a lot of value to the Avernus portion of the game and fills some gaps. Crazy cool locations and additions. The quality work you expect from James never fails to dissapoijt. Recommended.

Really useful for any sort of Abyssal/Hell campaign or adventure, not just Descent into Avernus.

This product provides inventive additions for a Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus campaign or for any DM whose party has traveled to Avernus. Kayla Cline's art really stands out.

Justice's review nails down what needs to be said. Basically plus 1 on his review. I will just add that Baphomet's Private Quarters its description and sinister surprises just needs to be used in one way or another. Soooooo good!!!!!

Of course, James always has fantastic writing. But did you know that this Abyssal Incursion features a House Lyrandar airship? Talk about a crossover! It's a great opportunity for any Dungeon Master running Descent into Avernus to gauge their players' interest in the new Eberron sourcebook, releasing 11/15/19.

As an Adept, there are several great official WOTC art pieces in this adventure that make it stand out, but it's Kayla Cline's cartography that really steals the show in this supplement. The most memorable map is by far the creature based dungeon for the Demon Lord Yeenoghu's bloated and voracious pet, Crokek'toeck! It's sure to be a location to remember.

Lastly, there's two great new magic items here, the Butcher and Heartcleaver, legendary weapons belonging to Yeenoghu and Baphomet, respectively.
