I think this is a wonderful addition to anyone wanting to flesh out phandalin and give new players a very varied experience of the d&d world. Some adventures are better than others but all allow anyone to expand on them or write their own in the blank notices. Maps are basic though and i found them lacking in one form or another for my tastes/to fit with the actual mission.
so some things to be aware of.
Although the work references many guides, volos/mm/dmg/phb it may have been better to include the stat blocks for monsters etc. Some people may not have these books.
Some parts are not well explained and allude to things, where i thought, did i miss that and had to read 3 times? for example in dead monsters it states "You may use the Band of the Iron Rose as a future plot point.." but its ambiguous what this alludes to as i can find no other reference.
I spent a long time obtaining tokens/pictures/bios separately for the npcs/characters in the quests. It would have been great if they were all included.
that said all in all, i highly recommend this for its versatility and general quality, Especially for $5. Id also have gladly paid $10 for an enhanced version with all the above included (as im time poor).
