This module was one of the first I played way back when in the 1980s so I was excited when I got back into D&D this year that the adventure has been updated for 5e. The guide here really helped me a lot with a few things to get my head around that have changed quite a bit, and I very much liked the new maps as I didn't care for the old type maps that come with the official adventure when using it on a VTT. Very nice and my players really enjoyed them. Thanks for the resource, I am glad to have the set as we work our way through.

Really great resource! I especially appreciate the section on converting to Forgotten Realms. Since most 5e content is written for FR, the lack of offical guidance for converting Saltmarsh (especially the larger political themes), has been my only complaint with an otherwise awesome adventure and setting. A better adventure hook was also needed. My players are already involved, so I didn't get to use this one, but it's a valuable addition and I'll almost definitely use it next time I run Saltmarsh. Overall great work by the author!

This is a fantastic bundle! Greta ideas on how to integrate with various campaigns, a nice introductory "scenario" to help establish players in the setting and deliver some elements and intros for the story. Of course the maps are far superior to those in the books, especially if you are going to print them out to use at scal for you minis. The summary's of each room and encounter are much faster to reference than full descriotions in the book. Fantastic!

Another quality resource from these guys. I immediately was thankful for suggestions on how to adapt the adventure and the factions to the Forgotten Realms, as my table was only familiar with that setting and it was a bit daunting to introduce an entirely new one without some common ground to draw inspiration from. They provide a great starting point for the setting and adventure, which isn't nearly as well laid out in the sourcebook, and give great suggestions on how to use some of the named NPCs in a way that ties the group into the story.

The DM notes for quick reference are handy for sure, but one thing I thought was oddly missing was that the adventure is supposed to take your party from level 1 to 3 and I couldn't find any suggestions from Valeur on where they recommend the transition to level 2 to take place. I think this is oddly missing in the source material too, though I'm not 100% on that.

I found one typo on page 5 at the very top, where the number that should be 20 instead reads "0".
