As a player, I love all things divine magic based. The divine magic items alone would have been worth it, as they are all fantastic and add lots of great flavor into any game. The subclasses are super fun, providing more expanded options for roleplaying and character creation. As a DM, I use this supplement all the time to go find fun rewards and abilities for the cleric and paladin in my group. We've even used the subclasses in here to help shape the pantheon for the world that my group plays in. I highly reccomend this supplement!

I love this supplement. Can we start with the absolutely hilarious disclaimer at the begining. Had me giggling for a bit too long. The layout is fantastic, and art is very eye catching, I mean, just look at that dope ass cover. While there is a plethora of well done character options and spells. I want to focus on the tattooed monk tradition with the mystical inks, all of which give a sort of boon. For example the ink of the crane, grants flying speed. This was so much fun to roleplay, having my tattoos come to life, such as the cranes detaching from my monk's body and lifting him into the sky, was just plain awesome! While I really enjoyed the entire collection, the tattoo ideas for me was an instant must have. There is so much content in here and it really feels as if it was pulled right out of an official WotC book. Well done!

I personally love the Druid Circle of the Branch, which will finally allow me to play as a tree person, and the Monk Way of the Tattooed Temple, which has inspired a balanced way to include magic tattoos for all of my players! If you miss the expansion handbooks from AD&D, miss them no more. As the second supplement in the Handbook series, this book contains original and classic archetypes that you have been waiting to play, and provides new spells and magic items for more divine flavor.
