This was exactly what i was looking for to spice up my Saltmarsh campaign with interesting items for the players. I've sprinkled in a few so far (theyre about to enter Tammeraut's Fate) and they have been a success.

One of the purchases from Dungeon Master's Guild that I'm most satisfied with, a fun and diverse collection of items with interesting properties. Definitely going to use a few of these in an upcoming pirate-themed adventure!

Bob Bob World Builder

As someone who has both created a character with a sailor background and is a fan of Homebrewing nautical adventures, this resource is incredibly useful when trying to tie in items that fit a certain thematic tone.

The DMG is highly limited in it's offering around magical items so further useable items that can tie in with both an adventure theme but also the theme of certain monsters and NPC's takes one more thing off my plate when it comes to writing my sessions.

Finally, rather than simply just making a "Watery Longsword", the creativity to ensure the items still feel unique alongside the Base Books means that you could mistake it for items left on the cutting room floor rather than cheap imitations. I am specifically referring to things such as the "Purse for the Boatman", an item that doesn't bare any resemblance to other things I have seen.

More of these for other such adventure themes would be greatly appreciated.
