I really enjoy the content released in this! There are a lot of cool options to choose from, and I personally got most excited about the races. The only small complaint I had was that it was a tiny bit confusing when it came to the creature type of the playable races, but other than that, solid piece of work!

I bought this PDF under the assumption that it would have more to do with undermountain and it's enviorns, such as hazards and traps and possibly more factions or just weird things to drop into the game. It has spells, and some minor hazards, but nothing like I was hoping for. it does on the other hand have more useful things for players like tons of class options including a new class which is all fine and well....I just thought there would be more to it than this. Aside from my one qualm, this is an outstanding product. It is a neat read from Mirt's perspective giving adventurers advice. The quality of what is in the pdf is great and I am sure my players will eventually use some of the subclasses.

I'm a fan! Seems like a great addition with colorful excerps, good writing, and quality content.

I'm not a fan of the font in the 'Mirt's Dungeon Delving Tips', as it's challenging to read...but luckily the font in the rest of the document is clearer and better.

The new races are interesting and well thought out, though I agree with other reviewers that I don't feel Illithid really belong in the players hands as a playable class. The ogre ability 'Furious Might' may be a tad overpowered. Additionally, Nimblewright traits added together are also somewhat overpowered (IMHO) and probably need either a penalty to healing magic to counter their construct abilities.

Anyway, the content is top notch user generated content and worth your money. :)

A solid book from the biggest names on the Guild, this supplement contains a little of everything. For races, they're all pretty great although as a DM I'd be hesitant to allow players to be an illithid without the campaign revolving around them. I like all the archetypes, but I am a little soured on the new class. I mean, it's fine but I favor archetypes over new classes and this class feels like it could have been a bard or rogue archetype.

New spells and magic items and hirelings... everything contained in the later chapters are all excellent and I have no complaints about them. I particularly like the new uses of skills listed in the exploration chapter.

A very conveninient supplement for both players and dungeon masters. This title contains material with an undermountain theme but can easily be used beyond that as well.

I especially love the simple approach to designing most of the races and subclasses, where it feels like they didn't go to reinvent the wheel on anything. Rather, they kept loyal to what we know of the creatures and made the right twists to make them usable for players. There is certainly an element of risk in the case of the trapsmith rogue, for example, but it's been handled well.

My favorite (and possibly the most overlooked) part of this book is the small tid-bit on "moving around undermountain." The product offers a light rules-expension for handling (and pacing) ability checks, which is something all DMs can benefit from taking a look at. It is clearly informed by lots of feedback from a healthy social media community, and has not been over-done.

I love the new terrian hazards as well, and already have plans to use some of them. I would have loved if the book also provided ideas for where these hazards might be best placed in Undermountain (lots of emptiness in that book to choose from! Would love to have heard the author's take on that). However, as a player-facing supplement, perhaps that may have not been ideal.

There is also a nice little selection of NPCs that can provide color to any campaign.

If you're a player, grab this book and ask your Dungeon Master to play a Giff Ranger (Wayfarer) named Commodore Warrington Munt of the Saucy Fusiliers regiment!

If you're a Dungeon Master, you're getting a lot of professionally-designed material here that is not simply another race/subclass/spell compendium. Every piece of content here serves a good purpose. The authors have done a lot of due-diligence and homework on this one.
