Overall, a good package with some great content, as long as you are happy with running Xanathar as the final boss! Otherwise, it's a great set to start you off, but you will need to look elsewhere for Chapters 6 through 9.
There is no mistaking that this is some great content. Though not as detailed as some maps found in other D&D campaign books, this is certainly a lifesaver and provides much better quality maps than those in this module! The prep notes are wonderful and well written, really healping to streamline your prep as a DM.
My one big gripe (and it is a big one!) is the lack of maps for anything other than the one quest route - I planned on having my campaign set in spring or summer and now don't have the maps I need for anything past Chapter 5 (and I might not need chapter 5 if my players dont visit Xanathar). I wouldnt even mind missing out on the DM notes for these chapters, if only the maps were created! The DM notes were an added bonus for me, as the maps allowing me to run my VTT version of the game was the real draw here, and listing it as "Complete", I think, is a little misleading. Looking back at the description it doesnt say anything about having maps for every chapter, but I feel calling it "Waterdeep Dragon Heist: Complete DM Bundle" bundle is incorrect as that suggests it contains stuff for the whole campaign, its a bundle, but for the Spring setting of the campaign!
I'm not great at making interesting maps myself (hence my need to get stuff like this) so I will have to do another search online for the maps I need once my players get further in the story, but if you guys could just make the rest of the maps for the campaign (even without the DM notes, I can work that bit out myself!) I would happliy pay for them, I would really like my players to fight on the ships in Chapter 7, or at the very least have the Cassalanter villa for my planned endgame.
So yeah, this is a great bundle, but really limits your options depending on how you want to run the campaign, with no sight of more maps being created to help those without the skills to make their own!
