This is a five star adventure and trilogy. The players at my table loved it. I would give the main bad buy three legendary resistances. The story is great.

This module used the 3 pillars the best I have ever seen. Loved the story line, the traps were just right. The enemies were very falvourful for my experienced players at the table. The bonus objectives are very achievable to accomplish and not too hard to add into a 4 hour game. 10/10 would re-run. Bonus objective A was perfectly executed, although the only feedback I'd give would be to have the question/riddle answers remove more damage from the enemy than what it currently does, because most of my players could easily do much more damage in 1 round. This way it'd promote a little less murder-hobo-ness. The Lair was well-built! The only recommendation I would have there is that, in the Wizard's laboratory, being quite close to the ritual chamber, could easily attract the enemies from the ritual room to prove to be a little more challenging for the players, as 2 separate encounters felt a little choppy and could sustain the ritual for another round or two. The ritual was easily prevented in my running through shoves, pulls, and tactical ways of controlling the battlefield. A little excerpt in the rewards section of the document for what consumables could have been found, or at least a reference to their pages would've been very helpful as I had to manually mark things down and search for them in case my players found them. Other than those little changes, this has been a wonderful module to run and I look forward to grabbing the next part to this story!

The good: Really great secrets that even experienced players might miss, clear explanation of how scenarios would go depending on party actions and conversation, good elements of surprise as some twists occur back-to-back so that when party members think they understand what's going on, you throw a CR16 fiend at them. Good descriptions of environment also help make it easier to get characters into the proper mindset/atmosphere.

The bad: Like the other reviewer said, this is far from a 4 hour adventure (at least in my experience). Removing all break time and meals that interrupted the session, it still took us about 10 total hours of gameplay to get through everything. This was however, with the party able to find many of the secrets and having adequate time for those interactions/combat sessions.

I'm still giving it 5 stars, because I feel like a more experienced party might fight through it faster. Additionally I had no major complaints with any of the content, just kind of 'hey, it takes way longer than it says, if you have that kind of time'.

Good: This is a well put together, balanced module. But why, you may ask, did I give it 4 rather than 5 stars? Well, first off because 4.5 isn't available. The second reason? See beolow..

Bad: I had a fairly experienced party and we were nowhere close to being done at the 4 hour mark. This is much closer to a 6-hour module. Therefore I can't give it a 5-star rating despite it being well-written, fairly easy to prepare, and very fun for me and the party I ran it with.

Bottom Line: If you've got around 6-7 hours / 2 sessions to kill with a party, this is an excellent choice to run with.
