It's an interesting story but I found it hard to give my players enough clues to figure the mystery out on themselves. Doril Cire is maybe the weakest written character and there's next to no chance to get to know Andrik. Instead the story seems to convolute to Azak Throm, which is a bit misleading, but not misleading enough to be a real plot twist. Most fights are Ok, the final encounter could be scaled down a little.

My players played all the games until no more tokens where left - sadly everybody mastered the Jingle Jangle just by doing performance checks. Lot's of fun for roleplayers! We did the combat scene on Roll20 - controlling more than 20 npcs is a bit of a pain, but it was worth it. Slab didn't attack in the first round, which gave most of my players the hint, that a friendly solution would be possible. Despite that, they killed most of the lumps, sleeped the rest and brought Slab down under half of his hp before one of the players managed to jump in the hole. They quickly figured out, that the blue gem had to be removed, but missed the hints to the red gems, but a very good perception check did the trick on that. The finale was beautiful and they really liked the rewards they got.

Just a few bits of criticism: I couldn't figure out what the "road-reparative celebration of Reach" and "the transitional tradition of Middle" where supposed to be. I made something up that was good enough, but a little more guidance would have been nice. Ouen Azemar should have an oppurtunity to show off his magic skills. My players just wheren't interested in shiny gems, so they missed them completely.

Dangwaru is a very well done dungeon crawl. The encounters are a bit too easy but the traps make up for that (the crusher trap is just unfair, but the rangers burial was a nice roleplaying moment). Ahoyhoy is a nice little settlement with it's own flair, but the mudpits seem a bit dull. The encounter at the Horn was the first enemy creature my group had encountered - luckily they got frightened and ran, which sadly lead to them not exploring the ships. Due to the rest of the island having no points of interest and the exploring part beeing a bit weak, we haven't seen the south-east of the island yet and I don't think we will.
