A quite fun oneshot. Had a decent experience. I was the DM for 4 players and we played in two parts which too maybe 5-6 hours total. 2 players died while fighting the last dragon boss and the ooze, some of the blame is to dice rolls but overall the big pile fight is a bit too hard and deadly even if you try to spread out the enemies to come in waves and let player cast 2 fireballs in the beginning.

the dumBEST game we ever played. The party ended up in the astral plane after putting a portal hole in a bag of holding. The party also ended up comprising of two imps, a faerie dragon and our artificer now being the sentience with the sword Void.

The maps were great but lacked detail, which might be a problem for VTT players.

It took us five sessions of 3-4 hours to complete.

I cannot recommend this adventure highly enough, a warning to DMs though. Be a permissive DM, just let dumb things happen. It will all work out in the end. This is particularly great for just after heavy, horror themed or long campaigns.

I absolutely LOVED this silly one-shot, it was perfect! It was so fun to DM and alot of fun for my players as well, all of the conventional 'you wouldn't cast a fireball when your allies are there' rules flew out the window. They made up ridiculously petty reasons why they had a nemesis (like blaming them for their own wild magic surge which blew of their tail) which was major fun. We made a rule that aslong as there wasn't a TPK people would play the twin of their character, we had two deaths (out of four players) and played 3x 3 hours because they really loved to RP kobolds :)

I ran this game a few months ago for a group of friends, and not only did they all have a great time with it, it's also the most fun I've had as a DM. It's short but varied enough to remain constantly engaging and unpredictable, the notes are laid out well so it's good for newcomer DM's too, and above all else it's genuinely funny and encourages players to get a little eccentric. If you're looking for a short, lighthearted campaign I can't recommend Rise Of The Redscales highly enough.

This was good, this was actually the first thing I ran as a DM. As I was building my custom setting my players were memeing about playing all kobolds so I did this for practice. It was very fun to run and my players and I all had a good time and some very epic moments. Although my party survived barely, the difficulty of this one shot is very high especially the final boss fight. In hindsight I'd suggest possibly changing the biggest creature in the final chamber to something else that's a little easier to deal with and is more engaging. If they hadn't gotten very lucky, I'm sure they would have been TPK'd. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the balance feels off. I understand the players get a lot of tools but I still feel like some of the encounters are a bit much. Though it could just be my inexperience.

This is a great adventure with tons of fun and a really clever premis. I ran it with four player, level 4. I used another commenter's note that the charcaters could just lick an item to attune to it and it worked great, it makes things quick and easy, which is the point here. The adventure definitely requires some preparation, I printed descriptions of all the items and handed them to the players which I think made it easier to manage all the loot. Printing the enemies stats might be also a good idea, we use grid for combat and with several named enemies and special kobolds, it might be a bit of a challange to handle. The final encounter seems super fun, unfrotunatelly the party was obliterated in about two turns... yeah, it's a difficult one. They didn't have much problems otherwise and dealth with most encounters quite easily. I'd say that eventhough the adventure gives players a fairly strong feel of urgency, it is definitely a good idea to go through all rooms and loot absolutely everything, I don't see how you can make it through the end otherwise. The game took us two sessions (about three hours each, the first one probably longer) but I believe it would be easily take three if they went through the rest of the rooms and the final battle had more than three turns...

I ran this oneshot for a group of experienced players and they had a blast! I don't put many magic items in our regular campaign, so the looks on their faces as they discovered all the loot was priceless. The adventure is well structured and had a lot of fun NPCs for me as the DM to play. I ran this for three level 5 PCs. They breezed through the beginning, but were almost wiped out in the final battle, even with all the magic items.

This is not an adventure that you can read in an hour and run: you will probably need to read it over several times before running, especially the final room. That said, it's totally worth it!

A great little one/two shot module. The premise is fun and the included magical items make the kobolds a lot of fun to fight and talk to. I highly recommend following the module's suggestion of having each PC create a rival kobold in the enemy tribe. And have backup character sheets handy! Kobolds are not a long-lived species, even moreso when they're playing with forces well beyond ther pay grade.

I just ran this one shot at my game table and let me tell you, everyone had a blast playing this!!! It is such a clever idea for an adventure as it is jam packed with comedic relief throughout. I especially loved the versatility of events in the last encounter that takes place in the big pile room; some truly hilarious antics occurred and it wasn't just because of the chemistry my players have! I highly recommend that you download and run this oneshot and I feel confident that you will have such a good time from it that you will be compelled to pay something for it. Enjoy!!!

This module is everything I've ever wanted in a one-shot, hahah! The entire premise is golden, the NPCs are a delight, and the mechanics for the fights--especially the slippery floor--had my players rolling with laughter and constantly entertained. This is probably one of the absolute best modules out there. We took three solid play sessions to get through it all, and my players ate up every second of it, hahah!

I definitely recommend letting the players choose their (filthy) Bluescale nemeses for this adventure. I just gave them the generic "Cleric," "Barbarian," "Warlord," etc. titles and they chose from that. So when the players ran into those (filthy) Bluescales there were great opportunities and motivation for roleplaying. Also, we played kinda fast and loose with magic item attunement, as the author suggested. Rather than spending the amount of time with the item, I described the item and gave them a gentle hint as to what it might do. From there, the PCs had to perform some action or say some key word/phrase to get it to attune to them. For example, they had to mimic one of the faces in the Staff of Healing, or say something in a Batman voice for the Cloak of the Bat. If they couldn't figure it out, each PC could "lick one item to claim it as their own." It was a rollicking good time and made for some memorable moments.

My only change would be to get rid of the extra passages that lead to the Big Pile from the Portal Room or the Shrine. My players almost skipped the Artificer fight entirely, so they had to be gently guided back there. It's a small note, which just shows how excellent this adventure is.

I can't wait to run it again with a different group. Again, far and away my favorite adventure I've ever run. :D Great work!
