This adventure was so much fun I had to come back and purchase again to contribute more! Our group had so much fun. The puzzles and games were a great change of pace from the usual dungeon crawl/travel+battle. It had lots of moments that led to amazing role play. The final battle took ages due to about 15 nat1 rolls from party members, but that can be fun too.

I purchased a set of absurdly oversized go fish cards from Amazon and chalkboards from the Dollar Tree for the first casino game. I know my group really enjoyed that as something silly/fun and totally different.

All in all a great adventure with everything you need to run it included. Thanks for the fun!

A really fun encounter to run. The puzzle themes in a casino run by a giant beholder in a suit is something very different from your regular dungeon crawler, and is very memorable to the players. The picture of the beholder was something many others in my Adventurer's League seemed to enjoy, even as some were only spectating the oneshot.

The first part of the session gives a lot of opportunity for the players to roleplay, while the second half (can be) a lot more combat oriented.

For my table, the 5 Level 3-4 players are very experienced players that prefer really challenging combats, so I made a few adjustments (doubled the knights' hp, added 2 extra centaurs and added an extra cambion). I feel like for my party the fights wouldve otherwise been pushovers, but this is not adviseable for less experienced/lower leveled/smaller party/less combat heavy parties.

Mechanically and thematically, this document has been made really thorough, so even though I improvised a lot more flavourwise for my party, it wasn't all that necessary (the tone is set very well within the document itself).

Would definitely recommend for others to play.

Part 2 of the campaign, just as my review for part 1 this is just as well written, laid out and presented making it easy to follow.
