Lots of typos (e.g., Gitzla's Lukky Coin) and poorly edited ("you receive a bonus to all Charisma (Persuasion) checks...", but the bonus is never defined). Items are, for the most part, unbalanced and/or overpowered. There's some good flavor, and a few simple tweaks should take care of balance (adding attunement, limited uses per day, streamlining items with multiple powers, etc.). It's worth $2 if you're looking for ideas for DotMM-themed treasure (something the adventure is sorely lacking) and are willing to put in a little work to make it presentable.

Some fantastic items, and great inspiration. These were obviously well thought out, some of my personal favourites are the Screaming Stone, the Book of Approximate Knowledge, and the Dagger of Eclipsing Shadows. I get the feeling they are going to be showing up in my own campaigns in the near future.

These items would add flavour in any campaign but will definitely fit seamlessly into your play through of Dungeon of The Mad Mage. A lot of rare loot that will not only help your players out but also let you have fun as a DM; especially with Arcturia's Phylactery Fragment which gives the DM lots of role play opportunities. I'm especially interested in the Mad Mage's Ramblings not only lots of cool items but also works as an optional side quest for your players, definitely something I'm looking forward to trying out. Thanks again Dungeon Rollers, I think this is even better than your first one, Treasures of the Underdark!

Thanks for the review Mike R, the Mad Mage's Ramblings is one that we really love too! We think the opportunity to add it into a large scale dungeon crawl (like Dungeons of the Mad Mage) makes it really a lot of fun. Let us know when you've tried them out!
