I'm the host of a podcast called Crit Academy, a D&D discussion podcast. We had the pleasure of interviewing Anne on our show and asking her all about this amazing product. She shares with us the process and developement that went into it. You can find the interview here: http://critacademy.libsyn.com/episode-108-little-heroes Thank you again for coming on the show Anne.

We cannot recommend this product enough. A must have! It's a powerful tool, not only as a guide to engaging children at your table, but also contains great tools and techniques for playing as a child in your own games. Special backgrounds, and racial options that really make your character feel as though you're playing a child, and not just saying so. Great work Anne!

Gregersen's Little Heroes is a must-have supplement for any table looking to play young heroes, incorporate child NPCs, or introduce the game to young people.

What Worked: I really enjoyed the holistic nature of this product. Little Heroes addresses nearly every question you would have concerning young characters and players. The product is professionally laid out and easily digestible in terms of presentation. The character options are well-balanced and show attention to detail concerning 5e game mechanics.

What Could Use Work: I always try to include something the creator could work on, but it is quite the hard task for this. If I had to nitpick on anything, it is that the art does not feel very D&D-appropriate or fantastical, but it never prevented me from wanting to continue reading.

If you are a player wanting to play a young character, a parent or guardian wanting to introduce your love of D&D to young people in your life, or a DM wanting to spice up their NPCs, you need this supplement. A very strong 5/5.

Such a thoughtful piece that offers in and out of game advice on incorporating kids into your game both as players and characters. This is a discussion we should be having more often because why wouldn't we want kids at the table whenever possible? Don't let that imagination go to waste!

The player content including kid "race" and backgrounds is nicely balanced and offers some options that allow you to customize your character in ways I'd love to see more of in character building.
