I was disappointed that the printable maps are not to scale for the standard one-inch squares. If you want to use them in play, you have to select a 110% scale when printing, which causes parts of rooms to be off the page and not print correctly.

Love the maps! Fantastic deal for the price. Only feature that would make them 100% perfect: my friend who printed them said it takes less material to print the whole floors and cut out the rooms than to print the individual rooms, but a lot of the rooms share a wall, so some kind of guide line between rooms to help cut straight instead of having to choose which rooms keep a wall or trying to split the difference would be helpful. But that's minor, they still look great!

From what I have seen so far, these will be amazing when I run my group through the castle. I got them printed on cardstock at a local store and am in the process of cutting them out. I cannot wait to show them to the group. Anyone looking to run Curse of Strahd or just Castle Ravenloft so look into these.

These maps are excellent! Bought these for my DM who is currently running two different groups through the Curse of Strahd. We had the modular rooms printed first. The instructions for printing were very clear, and it's been fun to use. We've also been using the VTT files, and they look so good. DM loves having good maps of the entire castle. These are very good maps with thoughtful attention to detail.
If you're planning to run Curse of Strahd, this is a really excellent product to enhance exploration of Castle Ravenloft! And if, like me, you're a player in a CoS campaign, this would make an excellent DM gift (just don't peek!).
P.S. We are using the original version. The updates look like thoughtful changes!

Literally worth every penny. If you are running ravenloft either in person or on a VTT, you should get this product.
Would give it a 6/5 if I could.

As a DM, I'm not usually at a loss for words, but I can't quite find adequate enough verbiage to desribe how helpful your work has been for me. It is everything I needed for my campaign, and it's provided in an easy to understand and thoroughly documented manner. It made my overly obsessive preparation for such a daunting location that much easier.
If you've come to the reviews section to help you make a decision then I recommend just buying it. You'll thank yourself later.

It's just fantastic ! I unfortunately printed it last week, before the update and got some alignment problems but it seems fixed now.
Anyway, it's one of the best thing you can add to your game, my players were so happy when I brought this physical version of Ravenloft on the table. The design is great, easy to print and it's really worth the price ! Thank you so much !
(For A4 paper users, be careful when printing the PDFs, the margin become really small when converting from US Letter to A4)

Super useful, easy to print, and wonderfully detailed. Can't wait for the final run on the castle to see how my player's react.

These maps are fantastic! My players were really impressed when I pulled these out when they got to Castle Ravenloft in Curse of Strahd. The detail is really great, and it's so much better than just having me draw on a dry erase board map.
Easy to print. I didn't have access to cardstock but I do recommend printing on cardstock as that will really give it good support, especially if you travel with your maps.

Genius. Sheer Genius. Having access to a large printer allowed me to print our the chapel and catacombs as well. I have always enjoyed running the classic Ravenloft adventure, and I can assure you these maps will see service at my table for a long time to come.

This is well worth it, even if you only plan on using a few rooms. The colour and fill of the rooms is great.

Beware VTT users: the maps do not line up with a grid correctly because certain walls do not properly take up space on the grid.
Here's an example of the main floor map (red grid is a normal VTT grid) https://imgur.com/a/pHoHtgD
There isn't a single map of the complete floors that aligns even remotely perfectly. I'm sure the single rooms are better but what madman creates 88 maps manually.

Hi Bernhard, I personally haven't had issues testing them on VTT--which platform do you use? |
|
|
Ah I see! I always set up the rooms individually, but I guess I'm a madman. Would a gridless, full-floor map solve this? |

Awesome package! Easily set up for printing on 8.5 x 11 paper. (Even K15 & K84 are easily printed out. Just have to scale those 2 maps up to 200% as instructed in the guide file.) Well done and great price.
