these are very beautiful and are awesome for screen based play. However they print out VERY darkly. Even adjusting the print parameters does not lighten them enough to make a significant impact. As such they are very difficult to see the detail (including the grid) and it uses a TREMENDOUS amount of ink on an inkjet printer. more than a tad disappointing as in all fairness, they are useless for the table as they are. I will now have to spend the time drawing this encounter out , defeating the entire purpose of the purchase. I am now out time, money, 5 pages of photo paper and a significant amount of ink.
In response to your comments, no this was indeed the PDF. I did at first print the other file first (then realized my error and deleted the comment on sizing). The sizing on the PDF is just fine, its the darknes of the file. I printed in both greyscale on a laser printer and in color on an HP ink jet. Both were so dark, you could make out no details and on several of the cooridors, so dark you can not even see the gridlines.
