This is a hefty adventure that takes twelve hours or more to play. Nearly all twelve hours will be enjoyable. Expect deep, organically introduced lore. Expect a steady difficulty curve in battles, culminating in a highly thematic final encounter. Expect to leave this adventure entirely satisfied while still wanting more.

Loved this trilogy of mods, great story and an epic conclusion to the story. Helped to fit perfectly for my campaign and I'm sure my players will love it as they have the previous two parts.

For those purchasing, this part does not come with any additional map images outside the pdf (as they were included in the first two parts), and there's some issues that need updating (Author, please see discussion posts and help fix).

But otherwise a great adventure that was fun to read & run and gives some great lore/story to Ubtao & Artus and history/culture/religion in Chult.

This is a great conclusion to an excellent arc, and gives characters from a ToA campaign a heroic conclusion to their adventures in Chult.

Mechanically, the outcome of the module relies on the choices and actions of the party in this and in prequel modules. This is well done, and creates tension for the DM as well, as you're wondering if your players will make the right choices.

It also has one of the best instances of using the chase rules from the DMG in a module that I've seen.

Thematically, the final section in the Shadowfell is filled with atmosphere. I would have appreciated mire suggestions on varying difficulty of combatsm and potential second waves of reinforcements. Tier 3 parties have a large range of power, depending on builds, synergy, and magic items, and suggestions on thematic additions to the final fight would have been useful.

Like any Chultan campaign, it's a good idea to read the Ring of Winter novel (you can get it on Kindle) before running this. It gives more lore on the setting, and more of Artus Cimber's history,

My only regret is I bought this before the compilation of Lost City of Mezro came out.

This was a very exciting module for me to run. Even though there was an absurd amount of lore to take in at once for a single adventure it was extremely well written and flowed very nicely. The only downside is the giving and taking of the blessings to characters. My players were really bummed that they couldn't be kept due to how well they did and how difficult the adventure was. But other than that it was well received and was a great way to inform people more on what happened to Artus Cimber after Tomb of Annihilation.
