I honestly don't understand all the highly-rated reviews for this adventure. The first section, the Tourney, is a good concept, but deliberately not fleshed out, making it more a suggestion of a concept than a completed module created for the convenience of DMs. After all, if we're going to have to make stuff up for ourselves, we shouldn't have to pay for the privilege. The second part, the Hunt, neglects entirely to provide a DC for the skill check to find the white rabbit. Instead, it gives three different failure DCs, the highest of which is 25, which is an extremely daunting DC for 5th-level characters. Finally, the third section, the Maze, describes a maze and provides encounters and a map, all of which appear to have absolutely no relationship with each other whatsoever. The map's "Start" and "Finish" are not where described in the text, he maze itself is incredibly simplistic yet apparently impassable, and the "keyed" version of the map adds numbered labels to each square on the somehow visually confusing grid, but these numbers are never referenced in the text, rendering them completely meaningless. Overall, this adventure is not only unfinished, it is, in fact, not even properly begun.

My party, to their surprise, found themselves briefly in the Feywild during Storm King's Thunder while searching for a giantslayer axe, and I ran the opening and first section (the arena games) of The Summer Games. They loved it! Having individual games tailored to each party member really gave each player a chance to shine. Lots of wonderful role-playing opportunities in the adventure opening as well. I didn't use the remaining two sections, so I can't speak to those.

My players absolutely loved this, and it's been really fun to DM.

I added it into a campaign with 3 level 5 characters (wizard, monk, paladin, though they're all admittedly all jacked up due to my fear of killing them) and had no issues with the Tourney or Hunt portions. We've yet to do the maze, but I can't see there being a lot of issues either.

That said, I agree with some of the other reviewers who have talked about a lack of detail after the tournament. It would have been nice to get a little explanation how the writer expected the hunt to go, or to explain why in the maze characters are expected to spend time apart. With a bit of improv it's easy to make it your own and just fill in the blanks, but it feels like they had this one cool idea and didn't have time for the rest.

I used this adventure as part of Chapter 2 of Waterdeep Dragon Heist. The players were sent to the Seelie Court through a series of unfortunate events taking place during Remallia Haventree-Ulbrinter's Fey Day's ball.

I only used the first challenge, the Tourney, which was really fun and let each character shine. I did replace the Deck of Many Things with a homebrew "lighter" version, as characters were level 3 and I feared one would die/disappear in the process. In the end, the player who chose this test ended up drawing 7 cards and got overall lucky, but I'm still happy with the change.

I do agree with other reviewers that the other two challenges are less detailed, but also seem more open-ended, so I don't think it would be a problem if you do not mind a bit of improv.

It says on the first or second page that it includes an NPC list, but it is not included. Also, the 2nd and 3rd events are pretty light on details. Overall, not bad, but could greatly benefit from some additional editing.

This begins very well. The flavour text and the first part of the three challenges is very well thought out, and our party had a blast with it. But in prepping for the second and third challenges, I found them lacking in detail, with the third challenge in particular notably short. The maps as well, might be helpful, but there's not enough information on the third challenge to make them very useful.

I would be looking for specific mechanics of how they make their way through this challenge, and how it is intended that they be "at times separated". For the second part, I find a little lacking in how the goal can be obtained without fighting (is capture possible?). Lastly, some flavour text for the final pages would be welcome as well.

All in all, really good for launching into something, I would just look forward to a second edition fleshing out more details.

This is a very fun module to run and easily adaptable to a group. I used it as part of a running plot about Titania and the variety of tasks set before the players was something they enjoyed greatly. The flavor text describing the various challenges is also great and sets the scene wonderfully. I definitely recommend this module!
