I really, really, really like this supplement for the Daggerford quest line in the Storm King's Thunder ("SKT"). This can be used for Daggerford outside of SKT. Also, with some adjustments, it can be used for anywhere. Joseph Williams does a great job with creating rich characters (two paragraphs per character) that are mentioned briefly in STK and even a few that aren't mentioned to build up the quest line. I really like the additions of the characters, which explain the quest line.

Joseph provides a decent one-page map of Cromm's Hold. If fighting occurs, it would occur in the castle armory and prison chamber; otherwise, the other rooms are just designed to make it like a livable keep.

Joseph also provides a lair and information for a black dragon that opposes the bronze dragon, Zirazylym. That dragon lair has three large "rooms" if you will for three encounters with the third being the dragon itself. The two maps are hand drawn on graph paper but still done quite well.

Good effort, but needs some polish.

This product contains an adventure for those exploring Daggerford in the Storm King's Thunder campaign, but it is also useful for other Sword Coast based campaigns. The adventure contains a significant backstory for events occurring in Daggerford with Lady Morwen. The background, in my opinion, helps bolster this product significantly.

However, there isn't any guidance on what level this adventure is appropriate for. There are some issues with the editing and layout -- it could definitely use another pass through to give it an updated look, but it is understandable for a one-person effort to lack some gloss of a higher end product, and as a PWYW product, it's reasonably priced.

I do have some suggestions to help increase your sales:

1) You absolutely need to change the title. It is way too generic and tells nobody about the contents. Something like "Deception in Daggerford: A Storm King's Thunder Side Quest". You should do something like this for all you side quest titles.

2) Update the description. People searching for Daggerford will not find this title. You should add a non-spoilery description that includes the words "Daggerford", "Lady Morwen", "black dragon", "Zhentarim".

Something like "The Zhentarim have designs on Daggerford. In this adventure, the PCs attempt to foil a plot to overthrown the Lady Morwen, face down Zhentrim agents, and encounter a powerful black dragon!" Definitely add that while it is a Storm King's Thunder side quest, it can also be used in other FR campaigns like Waterdeep: Dragon Heist

3) You should have the recommended levels and adventure length with the description ON the cover page, such as "A 4-6 hour adventure for Level 6 PC's" or similar. You especially need to note that the black dragon encounter could turn out to be very difficult in the interior text.

4) New cover page. It doesn't have to be super fancy, but just something to help catch the eye rather than plain white. Unfortunately, gloss sells. You don't need to hire an artist, but find some Creative Commons art that is usable under the license, or something from the DMsGulid free art packs to add to the front. Be sure to attribute the artist if used under Creative Commons license.

Even if you don't do any artistic updates, the text updates should help with visibility. By updating it slighly, you could easily put a $2 to $4 price tag on it and gain some revenue that you wouldn't have as a PWYW title. $1.99 is often a good price for a more entry-level product.

Not a bad effort. Layout and spacing is a little off and may require a 2nd set of eyes to fix this. The material appears consistent with any DM being able to make use of the material in one form or another.

Love the fact the author attempted his own maps and their look didn't detract from my rating at all. Practical and usable is all they need to be. My only suggestion next time would be to place them on a page of their own so that they are bigger and can be exported into a VTT should the DM desire.

From a personal POV, there is a lack of referencing within the text and something that should be looked at for future submissions (look at what other more known writers do and mirror them). Personal style is appreciated but practicality can sometime trump perssonal style.

The recommended price, I belive, is slightly high for what this is and the length presented, in comparison to other product on the guild; something to look at and adjust accordingly.

Overall ... nice little submission and worth a few gold coins in the authors direction to encourage future submissions within the guild.

Well done.
