Im not as good as some of the reviewers here on DMsGuild, that seem to have gone to some sort of review school to craft the consise and beautiful reviews I see here, but I'm going to do my best to review this as someone who creates alot of content for both fifth edition and other role playing games over the course of two decades.
1. The Layout and Appearance. This document is very well made, pleasant to look at and jumps right out of the pages of an official D&D book and into your hands. A quality piece of original art commissioned by Allie Briggs for this piece. (Commissioned art. For a Pay What You Want piece. Guys thats dedication, please please leave this a review when you get this, and if you can throw a buck their way!) The only small tweak id ask for is a very slight drop shadow for the greenboxes. but thats trivial, 5/5 for layout and appearance.
2A. Information (Playable Race). The playable race portion of this book is so well designed, very well written, full of flavor, with some great options for Personality Traits, Bonds, Ideals and Flaws. The stats themselves fit very well for these little fey frogs and are well balanced and would fit well in a group of any published race without feeling over powered or underwhelming! 5/5
2B. Information (NPCS). The NPC stats for this race are great! 4 different types of Ribbitan's from a CR0 Commoner to a CR6 Loreweaver. This section also goes an extra mile to provide some great options and tables to help guide and suggest some options for including Ribbitan's in your campaign! 5/5
This whole document is very well made, balanced and jam packed with awesome information, if this is the sort of quality work we have to look forward too from The Goddamn DM, im very excited to see the next bit they put out! (and really wish DMsGuild had a follow function)
