Tons of inspiration in this supplement! You could build a whole campaign, or a simple side quest off of anyone of the ideas presented here. Magical weapons, just like PCs and villains, need backstories. Details like this give life and depth to your games. Players will be impressed when that bland +1 sword turns out to be much, much more.

100 Weapon Histories! What a fantastic addition to the D&D table. This awesome list is stuffed full of powerful hooks for the DM to yank on, or for the player to use to enhance their story. Like legendary weapons of old, like the sword in the stone, or the sling that slew a goliath. This collection is fantastic for both mundane and magical weapons. Great work Casey and crew! We had the pleasure of having DnD Speak on the show to talk about it. Listen to the full interview and coverage here: https://www.critacademy.com/post/100-weapon-histories

A lot of unique and exciting backstories that can be written in one or two lines. Great for a player looking to develop their character more or for a dungeon master looking for plot hooks.

Excellent and original list of background construction details of any weapon of your choice. It is set up in a table format and you can randomly roll a D100 to choose the weapon history or just pick one you like to add flavour to your favourite sword, mace etc.

I found the entires in the table to be very original and interesting. Here is a sample of just one;

This weapon was reforged from the shattered weapons of three mighty heroes who slew each other in the final hours of the Battle of Dagford Keep. It was assembled to signify a new truce between the three kingdoms.

Value for money at the suggested price.
