Pretty good, but it needs a little more in the way of red herrings. Left unmodified its less of a mystery and more of a straight line to the answer. I had to create some new characters to create confusion otherwise the mystery would've been over way too soon.

This is one of the best constructed murder mystery adventures out there. It's very hard to balance a murder mystery for D&D 5e especially higher level with some of the skills in the system. This adventure does it PERFECTLY!

The plot is great, has an awesome twist and I suggest everyone looking for a mystery adventure to pick this up.

Well paced and challenging one-shot. My players had a good time tracking down the mystery's clues and role-playing, as well as getting through the combat. Definitely worth picking up for a day's adventure, or to work into a larger campaign!

Well written adventure that successfully writes a great "mystery" adventure. They are the hardest adventures to write but this one delivers. You need to pick this one up!

Brilliant adventure, hits all the marks any good adventure needs to hit. Lots of detail to help bring the adventure to life. Players loved the mystery, especially the fact that a "simple" Raise Dead did not work! I had to change the city location in order to fit it into my current campaign, but that was easy enough. I will use again with my next campaign, which will be in Waterdeep. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This adventure is worth your time and money because it's hard to find an adventure of this Tier that balances exploration, social interaction and combat like this one does. The world is brilliantly detailed with fully fleshed out NPCs with clear goals and backstrories and depicted with beautiful art. The layout is well structure and aesthetically pleasing. The DM's companion makes sure that this adventure can be run with the least effort and the most coherence.

I highly recommend this one.

We laughed, we cried... people died... it was great. I believe this to be a fantastic adventure that all players (and DM's) should play through. This adventure is a great example of a story that masterfully blends all the facets of Dungeons & Dragons. The exploration is fun, quirky and compact. The social interactions were crisp and to the point without unecessary banter and fluff. The combat was limited (in a good way) to moments where it seemed both fitting and necessary. The plot had all the depth it needed with nothing less and nothing more. It exceeded both my expectations as well as those who played through it. Cheers to the authors! I invite those who possess a few dollars to spend it wisely to have multiple hours of fun and enjoyment.

The art is beautiful enough that it's worth owning this based on that alone. Even better, however, is the fact that the adventure is enjoyable enough to stand on it's own merits, as well. What really sets it apart is the ideal balance it finds between combat, roleplay, and investigation. There is the oppertuntiy for every party memebr to shine within the adventure, no matter their role.

The adventure is well designed. The non-player characters are interesting and allow players to engage in enjoyable roleplay, the localities provide diversity and challenges are well thought out to make game play interesting to higher level characters.

If you like playing magic-user classes as a player, I would recommend you read this module after you have played it as the use of magic in the setting will give you ideas. I also would recommend this module (as a read) to DMs as a general read.

If you are going to play on a VTT (virtual tabletop) I would recommend the additional map pack.

Haven't run it yet, but it is well structured and gives all the information necessary to feel confident about running it. It also feels very professional with the layout and artwork. There's no doubt that a lot of effort was put into making this an amazing adventure. At this price I consider this a steal.

My group and I play-tested this adventure. We had a blast! There's a good mix of roleplay and combat in this mystery. The artwork, layout, and maps are all fantastic. Highly recommend!
