TLDR: A good racial option where the creators showed that they care by putting in the extra effort where it matters.
The Good:
First of all, the art is great. The creators provided the artwork, a mixture of color pieces and pencil/B&W ones.
The product makes a point of including extensive background on the fauns for DMs or players to draw from, including home life, society, names, homeland, and their behavior. It's a lot more work than simply slapping up a stat block and it shows they care.
There are three subraces (desert, mountain, and jungle), that are appropriately varied. The base race is pretty strong, and the subraces feel distinct without adding too much power. I also like that the creators included sketch-art showing how the appearance of the subraces differs depending on region.
Also: A virtual module included as well? Way to go the extra steps for FG players!
The Bad:
Not too much to gripe about. The language of larger paragraphs and some of the formatting could use a bit of polish, but that's no big gripe.
Apart from the art the product uses the base template, which isn't very visually appealing, though it's printer-friendly.
