Hunter is a lot of fun. It definitely channels Predator very well but not so much that it was obvious to my players right out of the gate. Once they figured it out the Ah-nuld impressions and movie quotes flew fast and furious and added to the fun.
The NPCs were great and the players found them fun to run (even if Bax couldn't hit with "ole Painless").
The players felt the dread of running through the dark jungle and hated every time I said they heard the piping noises. I never had the chance to puppet anyone but it was still a lot of fun. I even played selections from the Predator soundtrack to enhance some of the scenes.
I will agree that some of the information felt like it was in an odd order but wasn't much of an issue at all. Would have liked a more "AL" feel to the layout but that is just personal preference.
The only real downside to this module for me would be it wasn't printer friendly. The maps where very nice but dang that was a LOT of blue. And each page having that parchment background... It all looked great but as for printing it out, I would have liked to be able to switch off a couple layers and get rid of the backgrounds and maybe turn the maps black and white. But it was still not that big of a deal especially for how much fun it was.
Will and James have another solid adventure to add to their list of credits. Keep up the great work, both of you!
