Back into Mad Mage for some beating up old folks and their retirement goals. The only challenge is the minions and their splash damage. Thankfully this is tier 4 and MindBlank and Dragon Form really makes to ruin 100% of the journey. From there the old tedius nature of mage duels become bland since a single enemy wizard is literally no threat.

the best tier 4 from season 8 cause it is actually fun and engaging. Then the design and encounters are there to ruin the experience as they just become tedius and meaningless. A good 2 hour module that can be dragged out to waste some time.

tier 4 content again by WotC is yet another mundane to meh experience. Let us fight Artur Morlin that damn vampire skum. Otherwise the experience of kicking out an old man from his house is kinda lame.

A good conclusion to the series but not as thrilling as the middle module. The delve into the mountain was a risky journey for the heavy armor party. The conflicts are a bit strong and in tight tunnels which is scary for the party since i have a dm reputation gained from Mad Mage and lightning bolts and other cheap aoe's. The final conflicts are a bit overwhealing and practically hopeless for the party to face. Otherwise a bit disappointed with the season 8 rewrite and the clearly supposed to be dropped Flame Tongue Dagger.

Mama Muma is an NPC that the party would love to turn into a BBEG. Fate stayed with Mama Muma through the game as the party kept trying to start conflict with her. Botched rolls and perfect misses through and through made her an untouchable menance. The rest of the actual plot is creepy and mysterious which means the party took to exploring as a split party. Didn't work well.

Party hates paladins but the party can't hate on paladins with great charisma. After the third or so rewind the party started to realize they were the kinda the bad guys. Lovely play on the mundane and expectations of the party.

Another example of how enemy rogues will mess the party up. Played this module twice to get the two outcomes. Both parties ended in the darkest time line due to wild magic mistakes and some unfortunate decisions to trust that NPC's will stay alive.

A good start but a bit brutal which enforced the motives and the illusion of choice for the players. The party took the darkest timeline for agreeing to not die by Kobold Fury!

A lovely parody piece but it works to break up the mundane rollings of usual dnd. The monster combat leads to unique roleplays and some funny stories. I have a stock of pocket monster figures to really engage the theme of the module.

A nice little jaunt into the fae wilds is always a nice thing to annoy the party with having to hold back their murder hobo insticts. Due to unfortunate miniture choice the young wizard was represented as a mid 40's mostached macho man. this carried through the rest of the module series.

A thrilling conclusion to the series, the concepts of political espionage and assassin attempts. The rush to the polls while protecting "Mr. President" the party character who took it to themselves to be the new mayor of town. The final conflict was a bit long so i pulled it down to fit within 4 hours. Overall a bit meta and wacky with the introduction of the unique monsters.

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it!! This actually isn't the conclusion of the series, but the conclusion of "Act 1" of our story - we will have a whole set of Tier 2 and Tier 3 adventures!

A wonderful example of the dangers of the wilds and fairy magics. Sad and twisted in the way of a retelling of Hanzel&Grettel. The party had an issue with the the moral choice to spare/kill the hell hound. Over all a sassy and wacky module
