An excellent one-shot. Can be finished in 2 hours. Just beware the rats. Consider starting with fewer rats, then introducing more if the fight seems too easy. First level characters can easily die in the first room.

There are tons of tables here, but no details. The encounter tables are bare bones. The monster lists are just that: names of monsters. The same goes for the equipment list. If you're looking for table after table of things to roll, this is the supplement for you.

The Lost Tales of Phandalin: Glasstaff's Revenge

I'm sure this adventure can be fun to run, but you would have to accept that Glasstaff is a bit daft, even with his 17 INT. I bought this adventure with the hopes of learning more about Glasstaff, his motives and machinations, but that's nowhere to be found here. The things he does in this adventure just doesn't fit the character. I'm going to have to figure something else out.

A well made addition to Lost Mines of Phandelver, especially if you like your adventures quite dark. The combat encounters are deadly for four lvl 4-5 characters. Following the regular progression of LMOP would place these events when your characters are lvl 2-3, so you would have to wait for this to unfold unless you want a TPK. Do note that Thel Dendrar is a wood carver in the official book, but this adventure needs him to be a wood cutter. Big difference, but easy to accomodate if you know it up front.
