I had the Mashed Illmaters and a TYR-amasu for dessert. The taste was sublime and the service leaves nothing to be desired. I would definitely come again and everything was perfect! 9/10... ;D

PS: One small complaint, the "Not for resale. Permission granted to print or photocopy this document for personal use only." is really a detriment if you want to use it as a handout!

Thank you for the suggestion! I've gone ahead and removed that dressing from the cover and menu page so if you wanted to print them they would appear cleaner for player handouts :D Thank you for downloading and the review!

In General: This is a solid summary on how to behave in a roleplaying game if you want to make a relationship work. No new ground is broken here but maybe that isn't even necessary. Since I've never engaged in a role-play relationship I can only extrapolate from real life that everything in here is good advice. ;)

What I would like to see in an update or future product: Random tables for pick-up lines, rules for courting nobles, maybe some thoughts about mourning a fallen love interest? And thoughts about having children in a roleplaying game!

What I don't want to see again: It's all fine, nothing so see here! ;)

Wow! Work on this book must have started many weeks or months ago. I guess someone cough Keith sent word out that Eberron is on the horizon! Naturally, I could only give this book a quick glance in the short time (released ~15 min ago]. However, from what I saw it's a must have. Especially if this book remains a PWYW title it will become a core title referenced by many upcoming adventures in Eberron. Which might be the reason it was released as PWYW in the first place. I might update the review when I find the time to dive deeper into the lore. Until then, have fun!

Thank you for your kind words! Just to clarify, Keith in no way shape or form broke his NDA, but yes I did have this book (and a second one!) more or less ready to go. You could say I had faith that this day would come and Eberron would finally be open game on the DMsGuild!

This is a nice, short adventure of approximately 4 hours runtime which can be run as a one-shot or fill out a session of an ongoing campaign. Of note: The adventure can be incorporate seamlessly into the Storm King's Thunder campaign because the location of the inn (Dashing Satyr) lies along the way the characters will have to traverse for a quest in the campaign. The inn is described in detail, including the offered items, and the proprietor Wan Bai has a nice background story attached to her. Especially noteworthy are the maps which are offered. They are of the highest quality and will get the players into the right mood.

It has to be mentioned that the promoted level range of 1-3 has to be treated with caution. In most cases, a party of level1 or 2 will find their demise in this dungeon if the DM plays it by the book. This holds especially true if the players are beginners. The DM will have to adjust the difficulty of the final boss and one trap the characters encounter along the way if a party of level 1 or 2 should be able to prevail.

The adventure also offers room for further story developments. The whereabouts of the true villain remain unknown, and either the characters or the villain himself might decide to force an encounter at a later date.

In conclusion: You will have fun, so go right ahead and get it!

This is a great adventure for a stormy evening. Just get yourself and your players some hot chocolate, close the shutters and prepare for a good old fairy tale! Depending on your taste you can create a heart-wrenching experience or go for a more light-hearted tone. But the adventure certainly has much potential for emotional depth and tragedy. The 'villain' Mr. Grin has a lot of depth to him and I hope you will have the chance to roleplay him! There is some great potential unless the party attacks on first sight. So you might want to give some leeway if the characters are too battle hungry or set everything up so the party has no chance to attack during the first encounter.

Before you can start you will have to lay out a rough plan on how to structure the adventure, however. There is no step by step walkthrough, which means you will have to study the adventure very closely beforehand to gauge how the 'villain' might react in the given situation.

The design and the artwork are quite pleasing which makes it a joy to read. I advise listening to the Skyrim OST while preparing/playing. It sets the tone perfectly! The map pack which is included offers various iterations of the included map (with a grid, w/o grid, black and white) which is nice!

As of yet, I have not DMed the adventure, but I will update my review once I had a chance to test everything in depth.
