The concept, story, and NPC/monster stat blocks were all useful. And the writing is great. For that, 4 out of 5.

However, the map scale was coo-coo. I play with a map/minis and the scale of the map was bonkers. I had to almost entirely redo it to make sense for my game.

For example, room 3 is shown on the map and called out explicitly in text as being 8' by 14'. Not a problem by itself, but the text says that room has up to 5 enemies in it (1 for certain plus 1d3+1). Having to cram 5 foes PLUS the party into a two square by three square room on the map is impossible if each mini takes up a square. They'd spill out into the one-square-wide hallway, which would mean single file... talk about no room to maneuver.

Now, it's easier to call out the bad, but I want to re-emphasize my first notes: Lots of good things here. I really like the three faction idea. The author was meticulous in their writing. The hooks, the descriptions, the clarity of writing was all very much appreciated. If you're doing theater of the mind the map just doesn't matter that much.

3 out of 5 if you use maps, 4 out of 5 if not.

A really fun adventure that was very easy to place under any city, with a great map, and easy NPCs to tweak to fit my campaign!

A straightforward "dungeon" delve in three parts. Very clearly written and easy to drop in to any city. A nice mix of antagonists. Perfect for a sidquest, or the placement of a "mcguffin" for an ongoing campaign.

Three separate plotlines that collide with each other due to close proximity beneath the streets. With customisation to fit with my campaign city this gave a solid three play sessions and was much enjoyed by the players.

Good short mini-adventure to throw your party at for a few sessions.

While there are missions with a small plot to drive them, this feels more location-based than heavily plot-driven, which is nice. Much easier for customization, or additional self-made mini-quests in between/after the missions with the detail provided here (and easier for the party to go "off-script" without hassle, since it's a bit more open).

Would recommend for a DM who wants a couple of nice side-quests in the middle of his own campaign, or as a possible jumping off point to spawn their own ideas for something larger.
