It's an okay scan. Not great, but okay. Yes there are some markings on the map which is weird but no big deal. Two things, however, are very bad. First there is no OCR so you cannot do a fulltext search in the module. Second for some strange reason WotC decided to replace a good scan of this module with a worse one. Come on people, you're literally making your products worse over time! That's really disappointing. Lucky me, I have my old download safely backed up. What should be in this download is both versions of the module, mono and brown cover, both with full OCR. Sadly that's not the case as of today.

It's an okay scan. Not great, but okay. Yes there are some pencilled-in notes and markings which is weird but no big deal. The map issue, well, is the map issue. Don't buy this is you expect to get one big map, you won't. Also some of the map pages are not "straight" as in the map image is angled slightly. What I find most annoying however is the lack of OCR. This is literally just a scan, you cannot search for keywords. True, they do give you a table of contents, that's nice. But no fulltext search. Sad.

Mage Guild: Wizardly Resources for OSRIC

I have a long, detailed review here: http://nilisnotnull.blogspot.com/2013/06/mage-guild-wizardly-resources-for-osric.html The short summary is that while there are interesting bits and pieces here, in terms of a complete supplement (and for the original price of $4.00) it left something to be desired. At the current price of $2.00 it's actually alright, but not stellar. However the author is working on an updated version that will be free for those who bought this product, so that's good news.

City State Player's Map

I found this to be a decidedly "Meh!" product. Yes, I now have a map that roughly goes with the sparse notes about the city state found in the actual module, but in my humble opinion the map leaves a lot to be desired. I am aware that this is 30+ years old but still, I would have expected something just a bit more useful for play. Sadly the entire PDF collection doesn't seem to feature a map for the judge, apart from the hex map version on the back of the original module. I guess I'll have to hope that either someone will redo such a map using modern tools or that I can eventually afford the revised city state bundle.
