Plot: Another party! And this one is a lot of fun because so many threads are in the air. Most of them interesting enought that the players will want to pursue them without prompting. And then there's a fun cafe and a dodgy smoke shop and a suspicious street encounter. And then we've got a two story manor house and underground lair to dead with!
Pacing: I'd say it's impossible to get through all the material in this module in a single session. You'd want 6-8 hours to do everything. So you don't - you need to manipulate the players along one or two paths but not all. You can easily spend half the time roleplaying in Mulmaster before you have the first combat encounter. But from then things need to move quickly into, around or under the chapter house or you won't get a chance to complete all the goals. And ultimately the players have a lot of ways they can tackle (or avoid) the house, so you have to embrace what they choose and go for it.
Difficulty: Lots of party people to keep track of, a challenge for the DM to engage everyone in the party AND convey all the information they need AND ensure they meet the right faction people. They'll want to spend a lot of time investigating in clever or engaging ways - so let them. Then somehow you need to give them a chance to find the right people and get them out in time. It's quite a juggling act with one eye on the clock, so not easy.
Rewards: Pretty crappy item really, cute, but very few people will find a use for it beyond fluff. REasonable XP. (Use the table.)
Highlights: The whole "breatharian" scene at the party, the rude staff at the cafe (and the tressym), the moral quandry of whether these cultists are evil people or just misled nobles.
Problems: Takes a long time before we have a combat encounter, then the manor house contains too many (potentially) and feels rushed.
Replay: Since you can't get through the whole house, it gives the opportunity to run different parts of it in different runs. Time of day in the investigating phase makes a big difference too. You decide where people are and when.
Overall: Very entertaining module, let down a little by seeming too sandboxy when it really needs to be linear, and with faction assignments which add to the length. Cool story though and a set up for two sequels which are both excellent.
