Too poor about politic, religion and society. In the end the part reusable for 3.5 are very few.

An excellent tome, with all the material and rules you need to run an Al-Qadim campaign (or any other Arabian Nights-themed campaign). Great at getting the cultural details across, too. This would have been worth $9.99, so it's a steal at $4.99, especially with the high-quality scan.

Basically an introduction to the Al-Qadim setting. Contains a lot of essential information, but the Land of Fate set and the Al-Qadim Monstrous Compendium are required in addition to this book to start campaigning in this setting.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
When the urge to delve into the paradigm of genies, whirling dervishes and exotic sights, Arabian Adventures hit the spot.

LIKED: I loved the emphasis on the mindset needed to role-play and run a game in this setting. The concept of Sh'iar is just amazing. This is one of the 2nd Ed ADnD products that shone as a true role-playing phenomenon.

DISLIKED: The kits were not as defined as I would've liked, but easily adaptable into 3E and 3.5E.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I am using these books for my 3.5 campaign. I love this book because I like the Arabian style setting. I would recommend any of the Al-Qadim books even if you are playing 3.5 rules.

LIKED: Even though it is for the old rules it is so detailed that I convert on the fly during game play.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
